After
worshipping the Guru with clothes and ornaments, one should then establish the
flag, O repository of austerities.
It should not be given to those with evil hearts, those engaged in sinful
deeds, the undisciplined disciple, or those lacking trust.

Ensure the flag is not touched by outcasts or during a woman's menstrual

Thus, whoever performs this, O yogi, their desires will certainly be fulfilled.

I will tell you another secret, listen carefully, Maitreya.
Mix saffron, agarwood, musk, sandalwood, and spikenard with lotus and water
lily petals, and then grind
them with fresh water at
sunrise.
Carefully clean the grinding stone with the help of a young virgin girl, dry it
in the shade, and then during eclipse touch it and chant the mantra.

It can even attract gods, Gandharvas, and Yakshas, so
what can be said about human beings?

Thus ends
the seventy-ninth chapter of the conversation between Parashara
and Maitreya, detailing the influence of the Hanuman
flag.
