The sacred Hanuman flag should be made from threads spun by virtuous Brahmin women, using cotton thread, in accordance with scriptural injunctions.
The cloth should be three to five hands in length, made according to the prescribed rituals and dimensions.
After preparing the flag, it should be worshipped on a Sunday with red lotus flowers and karavira flowers.

First havan should be done according to the prescribed methods, with the mantras of the five-faced Hanuman.
When offerings are burned, the ashes should be collected and used to inscribe mantras on the flag.

Using the juice of Kapi or Kosha leaves, the intelligent one should inscribe the image of Hanuman correctly.
Inscribe the flag correctly with clear letters. Establish the life force (Prana) in the heart of the flag using the appropriate mantra.
On the flag, the wise one should inscribe the five-faced mantra of Hanuman and the eight-syllable mantra known as the 'Pratapakhya Hanuman' mantra in the heart of the flag.

Worship of the flag should be performed at night on the Chaturdashi (14th day) of the dark fortnight, and puja should be done.
In bali practices, offerings should be made with jaggery water.
Purashcharana (long term recitation of a mantra), will help to overcome serious obstacles.
Offerings at night are effective against evil deeds. After puja on a Tuesday night, the practitioner becomes powerful.

The mantra for offering is: "Om Namah". This is universal for all practitioners. "Namo Bhagavate" is added to the mantra.
Add the name "Vira" (hero), then "Varaya" (noble one), followed by "Vayuputraya" (son of Vayu) The wise practitioner should use sacred ingredients such as red sandal wood.
During the offering of bali 25-lettered mantra is used.

Upon seeing the Hanuman flag, the enemies in battle will experience fear in their hearts, and they will fall on the ground
Their intellect will falter, they will become confused and disoriented.

Animals neither move nor run away; even elephants and lions remain immobile due to the influence of the flag.
The soldiers and kings will cry in the battlefield, and even the skilled warriors will lose their minds.
They will become inclined to flee, filled with fear and delusion.

In the city or the mountain fortress, this flag should be hoisted on a high bamboo pole.
If worship is performed at night during the lunar conjunction, enemies will certainly flee within three days.
The wise one can worship the flag in the village or within the home, or at the head of the bed. Naturally, all enemies will flee.

Ghosts, spirits, demons, goblins, Brahma-rakshasas, witches, and other terrestrial and aerial entities.
Those who cause epilepsy, stomach diseases, and other ailments, upon seeing the flag, definitely flee.

Snakes, scorpions, lizards, and other harmful creatures will leave the village, just as Lord Shiva has stated.
The greatness of this flag is known to Shiva alone. Those who seek victory will know this without doubt.

After worshipping the Guru with clothes and ornaments, one should then establish the flag, O repository of austerities.
It should not be given to those with evil hearts, those engaged in sinful deeds, the undisciplined disciple, or those lacking trust.

One should feed twenty-five Brahmins and, every month, perform the worship at home with offerings of sweet cakes, as instructed by wise men.
Ensure the flag is not touched by outcasts or during a woman's menstrual period. It should be protected with great care.
Thus, whoever performs this, O yogi, their desires will certainly be fulfilled.

I will tell you another secret, listen carefully, Maitreya.
Mix saffron, agarwood, musk, sandalwood, and spikenard with lotus and water lily petals, and then grind them with fresh water at sunrise.
Carefully clean the grinding stone with the help of a young virgin girl, dry it in the shade, and then during eclipse touch it and chant the mantra.

After applying a mark on the forehead, one may go to assemblies and attract women, men, animals, birds, and other creatures.
It can even attract gods, Gandharvas, and Yakshas, so what can be said about human beings?

Thus ends the seventy-ninth chapter of the conversation between Parashara and Maitreya, detailing the influence of the Hanuman flag.
